PAs for Global Health (PAGH) is a membership-based organization offering exclusive digital content, resources, and event opportunities tailored to the global health community and the PA profession. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may or may not be granted. By purchasing a membership, event registration, or other services through our platform, you agree to this policy. Please read carefully, as we aim to provide clear and transparent terms.
Refunds for PAGH services are limited due to the nature of the offerings, which include immediate access to digital content and resources upon purchase.
Non-Refundable Services:
– Membership Fees: All membership fees are strictly non-refundable due to the instant nature of member-exclusive digital content access. Once a membership is purchased, users gain immediate access to resources, tools, and downloadable materials, which prevents refunds from being processed.
– Event Registration Fees: Event registration fees are non-refundable, except in the case where PAGH cancels the event (see Section 3.2).
2.1 No Refund Policy
Membership fees paid to PAGH for annual or monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. This includes situations where:
– A member decides they no longer wish to use the platform.
– A member does not actively access the digital content or resources provided.
– A membership is terminated by PAGHH due to a violation of the Terms of Service.
2.2 Early Cancellations
Members may cancel their subscriptions at any time to prevent automatic renewal of their membership for the next billing cycle. While cancellations halt future charges, no refunds will be issued for the current billing cycle.
3.1 Non-Refundable Policy
Registration fees for PAGH-hosted events, webinars, and training sessions are non-refundable. This applies regardless of the user’s ability to attend the event.
3.2 Exceptions for Cancelled Events
In the event that PAGH cancels an event, webinar, or training session:
– A full refund of the registration fee will automatically be processed to the original payment method.
– If the event is rescheduled, registrants will be notified, and a refund may be requested if the new date is unsuitable.
3.3 Force Majeure
PAGH is not responsible for the inability to conduct an event due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, or other force majeure events). In such cases, PAGH reserves the right to reschedule the event, and refunds may not be provided unless required by applicable law.
Under certain circumstances, PAGH may consider refund requests outside the standard policy, such as:
– Technical Issues or Billing Errors: If a payment is processed incorrectly due to a technical error or billing discrepancy caused by PAGH, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund.
– Unauthorized Transactions: If evidence demonstrates an unauthorized payment was made without the user’s consent, PAGH will investigate and may issue a refund.
To request a refund for these exceptions, please follow the steps in Section 5.
If you believe your situation qualifies for an exception as outlined in Section 4, you may request a refund by:
1. Submitting an email to refunds@pasforglobalhealth.org with the subject line “Refund Request.”
2. Including the following details in your email:
– Full Name
– Email Address associated with your PAGH account
– Transaction ID or confirmation number
– Description of the issue and reason for requesting a refund
3. Providing relevant supporting documentation (e.g., proof of technical errors, billing discrepancies).
Processing Timelines
– You will receive an acknowledgment of your request within 2 business days.
– PAGH will evaluate your case and notify you of the outcome within 7 business days after receiving all necessary information.
– Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.
PAGH’s refund policy is designed in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
– PAGH will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from refusal or delay of refunds.
– Refunds will not include any fees related to foreign currency exchange, credit card processing, or bank fees incurred during the transaction.
Members are responsible for understanding and agreeing to this Refund Policy at the time of purchase. To avoid unexpected charges:
– Review membership options and benefits before joining PAGH.
– Confirm your availability before registering for PAGH-hosted events.
– Keep your payment method and account information accurate and up to date.
This Refund Policy complies with all applicable consumer protection laws. If specific jurisdictions grant additional rights or require different refund procedures, PAGH will adhere to those as required by law. Users located outside the United States are responsible for understanding how this policy aligns with their local regulations.
