PAs for Global Health (PAGH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing healthcare inequities worldwide by leveraging the unique skills of PAs. Born from the urgent need for skilled and compassionate medical providers, PAGH empowers PAs to lead transformative efforts in global health by providing essential tools, resources, and connections.
Message from the PAGH President
We are a network of PAs organized to advocate for and support individual PAs and their use in underserved areas. There is tremendous interest in volunteering, global health, and the PA role in the international arena. PAGH was established by the AAPA to provide resources for U.S. PAs. We are the only PA organization of this type and are working to organize and centralize the PA profession and support individual PAs in their efforts.

PAGH champions the adoption of the PA profession internationally, where it remains underutilized, fostering policies and partnerships that enhance PA utilization globally.
Empowering PAs to Lead in Global Health
A global deficit of qualified healthcare professionals exists. PAGH will contribute to the solution by providing support, resources, and information that enables the PA profession to provide medical care and support services (administrative, teaching, research) to those in need worldwide.
PAGH provides PAs and PA students with the means to enhance their knowledge and skills in providing comprehensive healthcare to medically under-resourced populations worldwide through an annual conference, online resources, and yearly newsletters.
PAGH promotes the ethical duty for volunteerism among PAs by developing and maintaining a regularly updated database of domestic and international volunteer and career opportunities for PAGH members.
PAGH offers opportunities for PAs to network with other healthcare providers and/or organizations that share the mutual goals of improving healthcare worldwide, thereby ensuring the continued involvement and utilization of PAs as an integral part of the solution.
PAGH collaborates with other international organizations that support and advocate for PAs and PA-comparable professionals to expand global opportunities.
