My husband and I are interested in an eventual full-time move to India. Do you know if American PAs can practice there? I know the PA position partially exists there, but is not recognized by the government. I currently work in child and adolescent psychiatry and would love to stay in that field. Thanks!

    Hey Haley,
Have you found any more information on the profession in India? I contacted IAPA a little over a year ago and got a response, but no information on positions for foreign-qualified PA’s. They appointed me to the Public Health Foundation of India. IAPA is having their conference on August 12 & 13; I’ll be in India and really hope to make it to the conference to expand my contacts there!
