I am a biochemist and I am currently working in hazard analysis doing thermochem. I am interested in going to PA school but the 2000 hours is daunting and I’d like to start as soon as I can. I have considered getting EMT certification and doing that for a year. In the meantime, I am going to volunteer at my local Children’s hospital. I was wondering if anyone had tips for securing those HCE hours as quickly as possible. Obviously, I don’t mean at the expense of quality of experience or opportunities to provide sincere and lasting support for patients.

Thanks, in advance, for any tips or advice!
