I recently attended the AAPA and had heard there are potentially options in South Africa for internships for PA’s. Unfortunately I was unable to get anyone’s direct information on this and was hoping someone here might be able to better direct me. I am currently a practicing PA but am looking for opportunities up to 9mo.

Any help is appreciated in my trek to serve globally.

    Thanks!

Hi Heidi – have you gotten any info yet?? I am a PA Volunteering as a preceptor/mentor at the University of Pretoria for the Clinical Associate program. You cannot work as a PA ( clinical associate here ) in SA without a lot of paperwork and time ……., but you can volunteer to help train CAs through American International Health Alliance.

    Hi Olivia,

Are you still hiring PAs there?
